‘Edinburgh Printmakers are exhibiting a selection of published and members work across print disciplines at the first InPrint Biennale in Hull. We are pleased to present this collection of works that exemplifies preeminent contemporary print practice by outstanding British artists.
InPrint
InPrint is the pilot exhibition of hand made printmaking that is intended to become a biannual feature of the art landscape in Hull with a larger International exhibition across several venues to be staged in City of Culture year 2017.
The present exhibition represents a cross section of work from individual professional artists and printmaking workshops across the UK and further afield.
Images in the show across Studio Eleven Gallery and Hull School of Art and Design demonstrate creative printmaking across many disciplines including etching, wood and lino block, screen, lithography and other processes.’
Selected artists include:
John Bellany, John Byrne, Paul Charlton, Katy Dove, Alastair Gray, Callum Innes, Andrew MacKenzie, Rachel MacLean, Marilene Oliver, Graeme Todd, and Matthew Wilson.
