Entr’actes: Alternative Arrangements is a durational collaborative exploration by SSA Member Felicity Bristow and artist & choreographer Claire Pençak, that unfolds over ten hours (7am – 5pm) from the dark before dawn to the dark after dusk. This durational studio performance is a response through movement, architecture and materials to Hutton’s Unconformity at Inchbonny, Jedburgh.
The artists will be working through a series of action scores and material interventions exploring accumulation and dis-accumulation, erosion and deposition, change of state, reset and rearrangement and the near, far and infinite. Audiences are invited to enter the performance at any time and stay for as long as they wish as it evolves. The performance is part of a day long programme of artist led events in Jedburgh on November 19th 2017 as part of the wider ‘Mapping the Borders’ programme for the Being Human Festival.
