SSA professional member, Norman McBeath has a series of photographs, ‘Light Box’, showing in the exhibition ‘Ambit’ at Stills Gallery, 23 Cockburn Street, Edinburgh EH1 1BP.
The exhibition is part of Stills Gallery’s 40th anniversary programme, in partnership with Street Level Photoworks in Glasgow, and runs until 9th July. The exhibition is open every day from 11am – 6pm.
A creative response to the UNESCO International Year of Light 2015, ‘Light Box’was developed as part of a wider collaboration with the poet Robert Crawford. The series of photographs seeks to open possibilities, alternative ways of seeing the familiar, through the lens of the camera – the original ‘light box’.
