SSA Professional member, Paul Charlton, has work included in the exhibition ‘Inside The Box’ at the open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh.

Selected gallery artists have been invited to work within the realms of construction, producing 3D works both stand- alone and wall based. This thematic exhibition has challenged artists to think outside the lines of their conventional practice, manipulating their materials and creating works with several access points.
The works vary in context and scale from Alex Malcolmson’s ornate box construction to Simon Laurie’s large scale mixed media piece. Further artists include Doug Cocker, Paul Charlton, Susie Leiper, Kenna Crawford and Roland Fraser, amongst others. The exhibition see’s a new extension of the annual summer show and challenges both the artists and the gallery to re-think and examine the back room gallery space.
