Please join SSA Invited Graduate 2013, Morgan Cahn for the Onion Procession at noon on Tuesday March 11, 2014.
This reliquary procession is a reenactment of the Onion Cellar performance she hosted as part of her degree show in Dundee.
Please meet her at the front steps of the Royal Scottish Academy (EH2 2EL) at 12.00pm for the procession, which will last approximately one hour and is a free event.
‘The inspiration for these works is a chapter from The Tin Drum by Gunter Grass. I will again be the host, and two witnesses will be present: Beth Savage and Mary Beth Quigley. Everyone in attendance is part of the celebration. This procession takes place during the RSA: New Contemporaries exhibition where I am also exhibiting work.’
